There is a first time for everything

At the beginning of August we finally got to get out of Texas for a week. Sean's grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Holy moly that is a long time! The fam wanted to do a mini vacation at bear lake for a few days. I only have pics from my phone and thy have nothing to do with what I'm talking about for the most part, but what is a blog post without pics.

Side note: as a child I only went on like one vacation and that was to Austin,Texas to see the capitol. So needless to say I was very anxious and work had just finished busy season I was ready for much needed break.
We were there for too many days to write out what all we did, but I experienced a lot of FIRSTS. We went through a cave and randomly learned that if you shine a laser on a real diamond it reflected red dots all around you. It was pretty cool and had nothing to do with the cave. Haha We also went out on a bout and tubed for a while which I had never done. I have been missing out, it was so much fun. Lylah went tubing also and did a great job with my mother in law. Sean learned to water ski and killed it. I never knew my husband was good at water sports. Sean did a tri relay with his siblings and that was definitely a first for him.

I was super impressed and he looked smokin hot crossing the finish line.

Now y'all are going to think I'm silly on this one, but I rode a horse for the first time. Ha it was great! Our little cousin, Makaylie, wanted to ride and Pat had an employee, who brought his horses out for us to ride. It was so nice of them.

Those are just a few highlights of our trip. We loved hanging out with family, visiting friends, eating Costa Vida and just being in Utah!

I would recommend snow bird resort. We were there for 7 hours doing things and lylah even really enjoyed it. We got all day passes which were well worth it and packed a lunch.
